High Cut Ballistic Helmet Inspired by ops-core with arc rails. The ear-pro is inspired by Peltor ComTac 7's with a amp arm adapter to connect them to the rails. The goggles are inspired by ESS Pivot goggle adapters. The night-vision mounting system is also inspired by a Wilcox standard night vision mount. Polycount is 29k with 2 4k texture maps (Base-helmet, and accessories) Some more technical info can be found in my Work in progress blog post here. https://www.artstation.com/blogs/benwaters/YQQEr/high-cut-ballistic-helmet The model was made using Maya and ZBrush. Textures were done in substance and Unreal Engine. Scene rendered in UE5. On a less descriptive note, I started this project as a fun speed model to practice hard surface, but it ended up turning into a small piece. I enjoy tactical gear and decided to pick and chose some of my favorites and create sort of a dream setup (minus the night vision goggles and illuminator). If there is one thing I might do is go and model a set of pvs-14s and throw them on the mount along with some more wiring and bungee clips for the goggles. Otherwise fun little project, good practice and glad to be done with it and moving on to the next one!
